The Trust’s principal work is the N.M. Balwa High School at Pirojpura, in the Banaskantha district of Gujarat. The school teaches in English from kindergarten to the tenth standard on a campus built by the Trust, and charges tuition in line with state guidelines. A large share of its pupils attend fee-free at the Trust’s expense, and half of them are girls.
The Trust also supports an orphanage and a medical dispensary in the village. It is funded by the family and governed by family trustees.
